Pre-Refurbishment / Demolition (R&D) asbestos surveys
We will carry out an asbestos survey using our surveyors, all of whom are trained to a minimum of P402 (BIOH) certification.
Our surveys are carried out in full accordance with the HSE asbestos survey guide HSG264.

Stage 1
We will discuss and prepare for your survey by undertaking a desktop study where we will evaluate and make the necessary arrangements to effectively complete the job requirements.
Stage 2
Our surveys will be undertaken at a time to suit with minimal disruption. Samples will be taken for UKAS laboratory analysis where they are deemed to be suspect.
Stage 3
On completion, your survey will include a full colour report including CAD style drawings of sample locations and will be stored on our state-of-the-art custom-designed database.
Stage 4
You will then be enabled to manage or remove, and keep accurate ongoing records of asbestos in your buildings.
Your survey can be used as a site register for asbestos containing materials and will form the basis for your duty to manage asbestos in compliance with the Work Regulations 2012.
Types of asbestos surveys undertaken:
MANAGEMENT
The most common of all. A non-destructive sampling survey of reasonably accessible areas in the property.
REFURBISHMENT / DEMOLITION
Pre-refurbishment/demolition survey. This survey type is potentially fully intrusive, designed to be used as a basis for tendering for the removal of asbestos from the building prior to demolition / refurbishment.
We also arrange asbestos removal for commercial properties nationwide from our bases in Manchester and London.
